Hermosa Beach Kiwanis
The Kiwanis Club of Hermosa Beach is part of a global philanthropic organization whose vision is simple: to be a positive influence worldwide, one community, one child at a time.
In Hermosa Beach, our club has raised and distributed millions of dollars and provided hundreds of thousands of community service hours that are reinvested directly back into the community.
Our mission is to provide community support with mentoring and leadership opportunities through community service projects and youth programs.
The Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club currently has 40 active members and distributes nearly $70,000 annually with funding to more than 55 charitable recipients and over 40 scholarships for students from our local schools.
The name “Kiwanis” is a Native American word that means “we share our talents,” something we aim to do every day in Hermosa Beach.
