STARTERS: Prez Rick
Koenig opened the 3,883nd HB Kiwanis meeting. The Men's Choir led God Bless America, Past Lt. Gov. Dick
McCurdy led the pledge and Merle gave the blessing. GUESTS: Sergeant-at-Arms Pro Tem Charlie Cheatam introduced the McCurdy's guest, Shea McCurdy and later Cathy introduced their other guest Roberta Moore. BIRTHDAYS/ANNIVERSARIES: We tried to sing happy birthday to Dallas by phone, but we may have gotten the wrong number. We did sing again for Charlie whose birthday is today.
DRINK DISPENSER/FINK/OTHER FINES: Whit nabbed Cary, Nick and Dr. Barr. No fink today. Terry tried to volunteer to be fink, but she had shaken all hands. The prez tried to find some badge-less Kiwanians, but was told "we don't need no stinking badges". |

a celebration of the McCurdy's 25th Wedding Anniversary. They brought cake, champagne and surprised
us with the release of a flock of doves (well, actually white pigeons). Quite an impressive display! Dick expressed his happiness with his life
