today were Lt. Gov. Larry Madick, Jerry Compton's father-in-law Ray Banks and
Builders Clubbers Taylor Lombardo, Jenny Bowler and Sarah Terry. Great job
done by our new Sergeant at Arms, Deborah Cramer. BIRTHDAYS/ANNIVERSARIES: We sang really loud for J. W. and Howieee. Other birthday folks, Doug and Becca missed the noise. Birthday Boy

participation in float decorating. He
also paid $20 for the return of his bell that "disappeared" at the
Governors Dinner. |

PROGRAM: Speaker today from Life Line Screening, Diana Dotter (sp?). Her company will be doing testing on April 1 at our Kiwanis Hall for Stroke Screening/Carotid Artery, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening, Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening and Osteoporosis Screening. If you are interested call (800) 643-6075 for more info and/or to sign up for these screenings. It is generally not covered by insurance or Medicare, but gives valuable information to your medical provider if you are at risk for stroke or these other problems. The procedures are non-invasive, ultra sound techniques. Symptoms of stroke include dizziness, change in vision, sharp severe headache, partial paralysis, loss or slurring of speech. |
