STARTERS: Whit and Dano led off the meeting with a spirited God Bless America, Dan Marinelli led the pledge and Merle arrive just in time to pray. GUESTS: Cindy King from Bay Cities National Bank was visiting on her own initiative. She was introduced by Rick H. BIRTHDAYS: An especially boisterous version of Happy Birthday was inflicted on Cathy McCurdy (2/19) and Bob McEachen (2/20). They survived. DRINK DISPENSER/FINK: Whit caught Vera, Jerry and Les, but Whit paid for Vera. Fink was Howiee, but everyone shook his hand. |

Health Alerts: Our friend Anna Belchee just had surgery at Little Company of Mary. Hopes to be out of LCOM and into assisted care soon. PROGRAM: Carlos O'Brien was back to visit to tell us about his adventures in Mexico. He was able, through Direct Relief International and assistance from Kiwanis and others to provide a wheelchair, blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes and computer equipment for the small town outside of Oaxaca. Carlos is hoping to eventually become a doctor and continue this kind of assistance. He was born in Harbor City, raised in Hermosa. He quoted Albert Einstein, "Man can only find meaning in life through service to society." Speaker Carlos:
