PROGRAM: BEACH CITIES ROBOTIC PROGRAM.  Students from RUHS/MCHS visited today to talk about the Robotics Program.  Mom, Cheryl Miller introduced Mary Grace (welder), Tiffany (p.r. expert), Brianna (artist), Aston (machine builder), Angela (captain).  There are about 30 kids in the program and they compete in local, state and national competitions.  They are told of the "game" on 1/4, sent a package of parts, and then have six weeks to build a robot to play the game.  They meet every day in the auto shop at Redondo Union and we are invited to stop by any weekend (all day).  Their first competition is in Chatsworth this Sunday.  They won the national championship 2 years ago.  We contribute to this program.  It has been going on for 7 years. Check out their website at bcrobotics.org
