NEW MEMBERS:
Alice Feys(sponsor, Earl Feys) and Paula Wright (sponsor, Linda
Haxton) were installed today. Alice, as you know, was recently married to Earl
Feys and moved here from the San Gabriel valley. Before that she was from Shanghai where she had a
medical/corporate background. Now that she is a Kiwanian, she promised to
help her husband behave. Paula has been in the area for 20 years having gone to Bishop Montgomery HS. She has 4 kids and is a real estate agent and an artist. She's not sure which profession is supporting which. She already know a lot of Kiwanian from work and school involvement. |
WELCOME PAULA AND ALICE!!

PROGRAM: Kristin Whitelaw (Ian's better half) was our speaker. She is a hypnotherapist and counselor with a private practice in Torrance. She has been in this field for 20 years. She has two children (23 and 21). She got into the business to help children live their lives to the fullest. She counsels young people and adults about relationships and family. She has done crisis intervention (child abuse, rape, suicide, domestic violence). Relaxation therapy methods led her to become a hypnotherapist. Uses this for birthing and various addictions. A principle focus is helping young people figure out who they are and what they want to be. Parents must be a positive role model (more effective than do as I say). For more information: Telephone: (310) 760-2244, Kristin@apeacefulway.com, www.apeacefulway.com. |
