SPEAKER: Joe Terry, Director of Training for All-City Computers, spoke about their new business--a mobile computer training facility which is a mobile home converted into a computer lab. They will be parking in the Kiwanis parking lot on Tuesdays starting next week. They will be teaching MS Word, Excel, Internet (Outlook Express), and Basic Computer. Their fees include a textbook. Kiwanis can earn extra money by referring customers. Their principle market is small and medium sized companies. He emphasized that training can help you get more productivity out of your computers and helps much more than just getting a bigger and faster machine. He claims that even the technology-challenged among us can learn with the proper training. To register: Call 1-800-933-9499 or see their website: www.All-City.com/training. You can also call Joe at 310-980-5173. |
