Established in 2000
by the Julius Sumner Miller Foundation, with volunteers from social services,
law enforcement, and financial institutions.
Its mission is to heighten awareness and help community members
recognize, prevent and stop elder financial abuse.
They provided lots
of useful information about the recognition of elder financial abuse,
prevention techniques, and contacts for reporting abuse.

They handed out a
helpful brochure and to some a warning whistle.
