ANNOUNCEMENTS

Election Update:           Earl announced two more members have applied for director positions – Dallas Yost and Pat Love.   We  now have 7 candidates for 5 seats. Election will be March 19th  

We received a check for a $250.00 for the Key Club from Redondo Beach Chamber

             of Commerce For their volunteering work at the Super Bowl  Race.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Day---Thanks for crew who stays after the meeting

            to help!

March 8th Saturday   Adrienne’s Search for A Children’s Cancer Care sponsored by the Woman’s Club; Kiwanis Building 6:00 p.m. (310- 940- 9200)

St Patrick’s Day  Parade  FIRDAY 3/14 AT 3:00 P.M. AT Kiwanis hall to decorate;

            SATURDAY 3/15 AT 9:00 A.M.  at the parade staging area by Clark Hall.  WEAR GREEN

March 19th, Wednesday Kiwanis meeting- elections

March 20th Thursday, Rolling Hills Kiwanis at the Original Red Onion

April 5th Kiwanis One Day – Amy Cortina, Chair; Team Members Mike Goergen and Steve Imbagliazzo

April 26 &27th Renaissance Faire at Hermosa View School---more details to come

Cathy   HAPPY $20.00  had wanted to see new play   “No Child---”  and Jan just gave her two tickets; HAPPY new school Newspaper is out – look for it and don’t throw it away!

Pres Sherry       HAPPY  to be here;  HAPPY Redondo Kiwanis will be taking over Parra Middle School Builders Club

Jan       SAD    Can’t stay and help make P&J sandwiches as have to leave for a family funeral in Salt Lake; HAPPY  to give Cathy the tickets; HAPPY  Renaissance Faire, Aril 26 &27th is looking good and Builder Club will participate

Adrienne   HAPPY $2 sold 20 more tickets to today and received more silent auction items- $75.00;            Jeff M  giving 6 hour limo ride; Mike  donated money collect at Dragon from the door Sunday

Whit     JUST HAPPY  

Dallas  SAD Brother is not well- he had his spleen taken out and has lymphoma cancer.

Earl      HAPPY He and Alice were in Oahu;  SAD  Honolulu  not able to host Kiwanis 5/5

Same    HAPPY  Earls story is sadder then his –went to review his license at Torrance and could not do

            it  there, so went to El Segundo which would not honor his appointment-  so had to wait 2 ˝ hours.

Pat       SAD Bud and Anna are so ill; HAPPY  Sherry is here to visit

Mike     (With bell connected)  SAD with Amy as a new member he is not longer the youngest; HAPPY with Kiwanis support of Adrienne Woman’s Club event
