Melinda announced a fundraiser sponsored by Leadership Hermosa, for Hermosa Beach Surf Legends Gateway Fountain Fundraiser Event at Sangrias on Sunday, June 29, 2008, 2pm to 7 pm

Special Announcement (via email from Prez Mike) We just received confirmation late yesterday that Rob Parker, Kiwanis International CEO, has agreed to make a special guest appearance, Thursday, June 5^th, 7:30 – 9:00 p.m., Orange Coast College, Science Hall, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. This is an amazing, rare opportunity to have Rob come out and speak to us about helping our Kiwanis clubs make the leap from good to great. The event is free.   We are requested to sign up as many Kiwanis members as we can.  This gathering is also open to SLP officers.

Second Presentation was a presentation on the Redondo Beach Sister visit to Zhangjiagang by guest Chirrs Cagle, Redondo Beach City Councilman, Joanne Edgerton and George Barks. (They will continue their presentation next week.)
