PROGRAM: Robb Fulcher, Managing
Editor of the Easy Reader entertained us with a little impromptu stand-up
comedy. He said the Easy Reader name was a take-off on "Easy Rider"
so it had a cool connection in 1967.
He noted that he learned today that a happy dollar doesn't go as far
as it once did, that Kiwanians make their kids leave home, that Cathy McCurdy
is a wildcat around the house. He had
some other jokes about a couple of our City Councilmen, Dallas's run for City
Council, about Pablo's appearance in the Hispanic Mechanic, about the
Lombardo family feud, and Mel Gibson's "Passion" movie. It was all quite hilarious. Now that Robb has been promoted to
Managing Editor, Dave Rosenfeld will be writing most of the Hermosa articles. |
